Media Ethics is proud to announce that our new owner and host is the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Clifford Christians will serve as Executive Publisher and Tom Galer-Unti as director of finances. We are most thankful to the University of Illinois and especially to their Institute of Communications Research and Institute Director Bruce Williams. Dr. Christians and Mr. Galer-Unti have served as primary liaisons for the publication's transition and are heartily thanked for a job well done. We will continue in our role as co-publishers.

Dr. Mike Kittross, who has recently moved to Seattle, Washington, will continue to serve as ME editor and Craig Nickels will continue as our our editorial and production assistant.

Concurrently, Media Ethics has moved its office and operational base to 186 Tremont St., Boston MA 02111. We wish to thank the officers of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Massachusetts for their generous donation of office space and resources. Special thanks are well deserved by Grand Secretary Arthur Johnson, Grand Master Jeffrey Hodgdon, and librarian - archivist Cynthia Alcorn.

Emerson College supported and sponsored Media Ethics for more than sixteen years. We thank The many Emerson presidents, chief academic officers, deans, department chairs, faculty and students who contributed to the publication from its infancy as a newsletter until its emergence as an important, internationally recognized magazine. We genuinely toast the many friends at Emerson College who contributed fine articles, financial support, and resources so consistently.

Elsewhere we also name and acknowledge the numerous fine sponsors, donors, and contributors to Media Ethics. We could never have done it without them.

On behalf of our boards and staff, we are most grateful to all of these who have made this transition not only possible but also promising. Hats off to these many generous team players and to all those everywhere supporting media ethics and Media Ethics.
